My daughter’s boyfriend works at a state liquor store, so he gets to see new inventory as it comes in.
He knows my daughter is obsessed with Reese’s, so when he saw peanut butter whiskey, he picked up a bottle for them to try.
My daughter could not stop talking about how good it was. I’ll admit I was pretty skeptical. Sure, I love a Reese’s as much as the next person, but peanut butter whiskey??
I wasn’t convinced…until I tried it! You definitely get the peanut butter flavor immediately. But there are also undertones of chocolate.
I knew it would be perfect mixed with Godiva chocolate liqueur and I was right. It’s seriously like Reese’s in drink form!
Let’s get to the recipe and then I’ll share some details about Skrewball peanut butter whiskey.
How To Make A Peanut Butter Whiskey Chocolate Martini
- Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey 3 oz
- Godiva Chocolate Liqueur 1.5 oz
- Chocolate Syrup
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add peanut butter whiskey and chocolate liqueur to the shaker and shake until chilled-about 30 seconds.
Pour into the cocktail glass, add a peanut butter cup. Enjoy and please drink responsibly.
The story of Skrewball Whiskey is an interesting one. Like with so many unique creations, it started out on a whim from a bartender and a foodie who first served a peanut butter whiskey shot.
It then became their signature shot for this husband and wife team and the rest, as they say, is history.
According to Fox News Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey was awarded a double gold medal for “best flavored whiskey”.
Great news for those of you with gluten allergies. It is also vegan and gluten-free.
My daughter and I love flavored whiskey, like our recently shared cinnamon infused whiskey. But if that’s not for you, peanut butter whiskey can be used in mixed cocktails to tone down the sweetness.
One recipe that may appeal to you from the Skrewball website is this spin on a classic PB & J.
