Make delicious Tequila Rose strawberry shooters perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Here is what I used to make these yummy chocolate covered strawberry shooters.
Ingredients Needed For Tequila Rose Strawberry Shooters
- 1/2 c Chocolate Chips, melted
- 4 0z Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream
- 4 oz of Chocolate Liqueur
- 2 oz Cake Vodka
- Splash of Light Cream
- 4 Strawberries cut in a heart shape
I first tried Tequila Rose when I made a strawberry shortcake martini. It seriously tastes like strawberry milk!
When I was thinking about what drink to make for Valentine’s Day, I knew I wanted to include it in the recipe.
Of course, the beautiful pink color is the reason I wanted to use Tequila Rose. It is the perfect color for a Valentine shot!
I thought it would be fun to use a flight paddle and make shooters. There is just something about serving shots on a flight paddle that steps it up a notch!
The one I have is extra special because we bought it at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery when we went on a girl’s trip to Nashville.
Doesn’t it look so pretty? The melted chocolate rim against the creamy pink is so appealing! Did you notice the strawberry heart?
When I was thinking about what to mix with the strawberry liqueur, I spotted a new Iced Cake Vodka that just came out! I scooped that up and did a little taste testing. 🙂
We have a winner with this combo, that you will definitely want to try! It is on the sweet side and also packs a punch, so please drink responsibly.
Just mix all the ingredients in a shaker, add ice and shake about 30 seconds until it’s nice and cold.
Pour it evenly into the 4 shot glasses, with a chocolate covered rim. Add a pretty heart strawberry and serve immediately.
It’s definitely best served chilled. There is a printable recipe at the bottom of this article so you can easily make this at home.
